Put Pixel 8 at the centre of fashion-focused stories and in the hands of creators, told through the lens of New York Times editorial.

Solution

“Through Their Lens,” became a year-long creative collaboration between The New York Times & Google. A creative series that profiles different creators who use Pixel to connect with the world. Chapter Three, focused on fashion icon Phillip Lim. To celebrate his brand’s 20th anniversary, Phillip Lim partnered with Google Pixel and photographer Andy Jackson to create a series of portraits paying tribute to the women who have inspired Lim’s career. Using the Google Pixel 9 Pro camera, Jackson photographed the women wearing the clothing they have helped bring to life.

Jackson brought used AI-powered editing features like Reimagine with Magic Editor to life through the portrait series. Assets included: 1x Hero Video, 2x Social Cutdowns, 1x Print Spread in NYT Magazine & T Magazine, 8x Talent Social Posts, 1x IRL 3.1 Phillip Lim In-Store Video Installation during NYFW, NYT Style, T Brand & T Magazine Paid Social (FB/IG) & NYT Bespoke + Standard Digital Display media.
